Next time you think that bundt cakes would be cute to have at your party, just make them yourself or find another bakery who will make them for you! Yesterday they lost about 30 customers and the venue owner said she would no longer be recommending them either.
First, we ordered a small carrot cake and then the day of they called and said they couldn't give us our small cake but they could make us 2 dozen bundtinis.... if you can make two dozen bundtinis you could have made the cake. Unfortunently these bundtinis were horribly dry which leads me to believe that they were old and wanted them out of the store instead of selling us the cake we ordered!
Secondly, yesterday we had a wedding. We had one of the bridesmaids pick up the bundtinis and the two cakes. They placed both cakes into a box and then wrapped it in clear wrap which caused the frosting to become smooshed and not on the cake. When we called they blamed the bridesmaid that picked it up and said if we didn't want a possibly damaged cake originally we were given the option of delivery and we declined as we didn't want to spend even more money. After five minutes of telling them how they wrapped it and so forth that it was their fault. Plus who wraps cakes? They should have been put in separate boxes for transportation. They said they would replace the cakes and that we could keep the one that got damaged. So we sent someone to go pick the new cakes up. Ten minutes later we received a call back saying that they (decided they wanted the cakes back in order to replace them, we said well there's no way to do that today the person picking them up has already left and should be there in just moments to pick up the new ones. We asked if pictures would be sufficient and we were told no. We finally got them to say that they would except the cakes the next day. I don't know why they would want the cakes back they cannot resell them. And we have enough to do the day after the wedding and have now added another thing to the list. These are huge inconveniences to the wedding party and those who were making the day happen. This whole ordeal took up nearly two hours of the preparation time that we had and the venue we were at only gave us four hours.
Friendly atmosphere. Delicious cakes. The perfect size of scrumptious
Absolutely fantastic selection of cakes. Their cakes are always so incredibly moist and rich. Fast, friendly service. My wife's favorite is the red velvet. While she's not a fan of any frosting, I am, and their cream cheese frosting they put on all their cakes are second to none.
Best cake EVER. Moist with delicious frosting!
My daughters and I saw this place when we were walking out from having breakfast. I was hesitant as a lot of these bakeries have cakes and cupcakes that do not taste fresh and the frosting is thick and not appealing. We went in and they had a sample of their pumpkin cake. One bite and we were hooked. It was fresh, moist and the frosting was amazing - it tasted homemade. Needless to say we each walked out with our own flavor of a mini bundt cake. I will most definitely be ordering one for Thanksgiving with all of the cute decorations and will pick one up whenever I have to bring dessert somewhere. It is a must have!
We have used Nothing Bundt Cakes before and have had wonderful service. But we have now had two experiences within 13 days where we have been left unpleased.
